Send my Friend to School sendmyfriendlogo

2012 marked just three years left until the target of meeting both the Millennium Development and “Education for All” Goals.

In 2013, the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) will be calling on World leaders to take firm action to close the teacher gap.
To deliver quality education for all it is vital that teachers are valued, fully qualified and earn a decent wage.
GCE estimates that 1.7 million more professional teachers are needed just to achieve universal primary education.

The theme for 2013 is “Every Child Needs a Teacher”.
You can pre-order materials now, and you will be sent a pack in February ready to use in the summer term.
In the meantime, you can still get the 2012 downloadable resources “Going for Gold” on website.

Assemblies of the Month

from Christian Aid

New Year is a time when we make resolutions to improve the way we live. Should our resolutions this year include helping people around the world?

Mae’r flwyddyn newydd yn gyfnod pan fyddwn yn addo gwella ein ffordd o fyw.  A ddylai ein haddewidion eleni gynnwys helpu pobl ar draws y byd?

Our assemblies and presentations aim to explain the causes of hunger in a world where there is enough food for all. They also consider how governments can make changes that allow people affected by food shortages not only to survive, but to prosper.

Mae ein gwasanaethau a’r cyflwyniadau yn helpu egluro achosion newyn mewn byd ble mae digon o fwyd i bawb. Maent hefyd yn ystyried sut gall llywodraethau wneud newidiadau fydd yn galluogi pobl a effeithir gan brinder bwyd, nid yn unig i oroesi ond hefyd i ffynnu

Gwasanaeth Cynradd: Blwyddyn Newydd Newynog
 Primary Assembly: Hungry New Year

Gwasanaeth uwchradd: Diwedd ar Newyn
