Welcome to Fairtrade Fortnight 2012! The 10thannual Divine /Christian Aid Fairtrade Poetry Competition is here!                                                                                 This year, Frank Cottrell Boyce will judge the English language entries and for the first time we are offering a Welsh language competition judged by Eurig Salisbury, the Welsh language Children’s Poet Laureate. Competition details are here (neu yma) or on the Learn and Divine websites, with links to teaching resources. The title this year is ‘My Chocolate Shop’ and the closing date is April 25th 2012. Lent can also be a time to think about how we can help make life better for others. Meet 11-year-old Ahmad from Egypt who, like many other children, works tirelessly in a quarry in the El Minia region of Egypt.
